About Buday
What is Buday?

Buday is a belief, which we stand for and live. Our pursuit of perfection...

It is about toughness, discipline, respect, focus, persistence, ambition, creation, development, art, health preservation, friendship and much more. It is mainly about us, about our lives.

Your punch is like you yourself. The way you see life is the way life looks back at you. So look at is with strength, belief, integrity and you will be happy.

This is what I believe in, what we believe in.

Let's go Buday!

Regards,
Master Péter Poós (M)

Short history of Buday

The Buday Taekwon-do Klub is the descendant of the first Taekwon-do club in the country (Central Training gym), which was found in 1977. László Harmat, the founder and chairman of the Hungarian ITF Taekwon-do Federation, educated the head coaches, who built their own clubs in different parts of the country with hard work and persistence. The education stopped in the Central Training gym in 1995 (it was resurrected in September 2001). The masters and students in the club had 2 chances. To either assimilate into another club, or open a training gym, where the hierarchy between master and student, the etiquette of Taekwon-do, and respect would hold the club together. Choosing to open a new club, Buday Taekwon-do Klub was founded in 1995, which continues the traditions of Central Training gym. After a while almost everybody, who was member of Central Training gym, transferred to Buday TKD club. The first head coach was Farkas Gábor (national champion), then Péter Poós took over the control from him in September 1998. The club grew day to day, the students developed, and beyond the successful exams, many nice outcomes in national competitions enriched the club. From 2001 we conduct the trainings in a new, big gym, in 2 hours 3 times a week.
